The attacker steps forward 3 times and executes 3 random hand or foot techniques towards his opponent.
The defender steps back three times whilst executing three suitable blocking techniques.
After the 3 and final attacking technique, the defender executes a suitable single counter attack technique by hand or foot to the attacker.
Semi Free Sparring helps the students to get used to reacting quickly and using the right defence and counters in any given situation.
It is important that the students perform the attacks and blocks correctly and know the Korean terminology for each of the techniques demonstrated. An examiner may ask you the purpose of each technique and why you chose to use it
